Quiet room with view into the greenery. The coffee from the machine for breakfast is strong and good. There is a billiard table in the restaurant. There is plenty of parking space, there is a good running track nearby, partly through the forest.
When I arrived at 14.00, my room was not ready, if not bad, because 15.00 was indicated. At the counter a trainee who was overstrained with the system and a lady speaking with a Russian accent, who was obviously annoyed by her job, smile impossible, after filling out the obligatory form, I was sent away for an hour. No offer of luggage storage, everything back in the car. An hour later the lady could not remember me. I had asked for a room with a bathtub on the first floor. She tried to make me believe that it did not exist, but from previous visits I knew about such rooms, and got one. Very tedious. I was allowed to pay for it in advance. The room itself is spacious and good, but initially it smelled so much like chlorine cleaner that one had to air it out first. But the cleaning crew in the corridor smelled more than human. After some of the furniture had been moved, it became apparent that the room had only been cleaned superficially, clearly visible older dust. Bent lampshades. The beds had been worn to the maximum, waking up every morning with a clearly felt back. Breakfast had been reorganized in comparison to earlier stays. They had done something for the optics, unfortunately at the expense of quality. The cheese was still frozen and not portionable, the rolls were hard. Allover always tried, edible, but also no more.

The special Bauhaus-like style is great. The location is beautiful, with a forest around it. Easy to reach, that was good for us, because we wanted to get back on the motorway quickly the next morning. The restaurant is great, the breakfast was good too. The bed was very comfortable. And we had the room with a jacuzzi, funny, we always wanted to try that.
The furniture is adapted to the style, 70s for example. It's great, actually. But they really need to be cleaned, reupholstered or simply replaced. It's a pity that such a beautiful house, which should only get praise, destroys itself by such carelessness. Everybody, really every armchair and the upholstered chairs (and in the corners of the carpet) had stains that would certainly have pleased the crime scene investigators. We don't even want to think about what it was, and we don't want to sit on it. Otherwise, everything was impeccable.

Quiet, comfortable and clean rooms. Good breakfast buffet. Helpfull reception open 24hrs. Inquire at reception for (free) coffee and thee making facilities. Good starting point for biking, hiking and visiting Amersfoort.
Not really, a bath instead of a shower would have been appreciated.

Thoroughly enjoyed Amersfoort, the hotel was lovely in the local restaurant gorgeous. The location was favourable and magnificent, next to bus stops and quiet location in a pleasant park. Also, it was 4 miles from De Ladder Sculpture. I had luxury and huge room with tea /coffee, the bathroom.

The Staff tried to be helpful but their hands were tied by decisions taken by head office. The beds in our room.(Premier)
A lot, the heating system was on summer setting although the temperatures were like February, we were freezing. we had a Premier room but no premier luxuries, no shampoo, conditioner, body moisterizers etc,no tea making facilities, never been in a hotel like this before, we would like a refund but as you say ,we should not use this space for complaints.Beds in standard room are very narrow and there is no hair dryer .We booked 4( Standard and Premier) rooms a lot of money badly spend .

good stay but needs better amenities
The bed offered amazing comfort. Breakfast choices were abundant, and I appreciated the quality of the food provided.
The amenities felt somewhat basic and could benefit from upgrades.

As usual good diner and breakfast facilities
One showerdoor was broken. Without any notice they changed Wifi provider. The t-mobile `minutes card` are not valid anymore in this hotel. The `presentation` map in the room still has the old internet provider information. Be aware of this.

The room was very big. We found a natural park over the railway. We felt very happy to feel relaxed.
It would be better if there were a refregirator in the room. Internet was not free any more. The description on the hotel page should be revised.

Straight facts, no fluff
The rooms are comfortable and quiet, perfect for business trips. The breakfast is plentiful, with a nice mix of sweet and savory options. The staff is kind and helpful. That said, the reservation policy could use improvement, and some items felt overpriced. Parking was ample, but location might be a bit far from attractions.

The perfect place for a family stay for a night! There were many fun games (life size chess and ping pong outside, pool inside). The restaurant was relaxed, the food superb, and there were nice touches such as colorful blankets for those who wanted to sit out on the porch. The breakfast buffet was absolutely outstanding. The hotel and restaurant staff were kind and spoke excellent English. The location is peaceful and beautiful, in a green wood. Bike trails nearby. Relaxing, delicious, and fun for the kids. I will look for Golden Tulip hotels when I need a hotel in the future.

The best and the only good of the hotel was the restaurant, I mean, the staff of the restaurant, they were very kind.
Rooms very poor and the lift wasn´t working well.
